Can unity be consolidated by uncultured troubleshooters?

Indeed, prophets railed against the political and social elites of the nations by condemning them for hoarding wealth, feasting while the poor set hungry. They used the courts to drive the lower classes out from their land. The poorest of the poor are deprived of such basic necessities as food, shelter, clean water and health care delivery services in the society. However, leaders do deserve more rewards because they assume greater risks and responsibilities, and some leaders get more than they deserve. In this privilege is a significant ethical burden associated with leadership. Thus privilege is considered as question of power, as the shadow cast by the abuse of privilege can be as long and dark as that cast by the misuse of power. Conversely, sharing privilege can cast significant light. But knowledge is clearly a mixed blessing as leaders need to have information loop in order to carry out their tasks, but to possess knowledge does make life more complicated. Therefore no wonder they are tempted to think ignorance bliss. Without that these challenges would be enough, to an extent of facing real temptation to lie or hide the truth to protect them self. That is why the leader tried to cover up the truth, although they have to decide between lying and saying truth telling, and just to be faced with questions of releasing the information. Unwanted intrusion devalues their worth as individuals. So thus leaders cast shadows not only when they die but also when they mismanage information and engage in deceptive practices. Unethical leaders do deny not having knowledge in their possession by holding information to their followers when they are in need to know. They keep information solidly for personal benefit with serious violation of the rights of the followers by releasing information’s to wrong people. Even they put followers in ethical binds by preventing them from releasing information that others have a legitimate right to know. In this the element of deception and lies which does distort information does destroy the trust that binds leaders and followers together. This is the mean reason government leaders do create a shadow atmosphere through deceit or engage in secret conspiracies. To be on save side it is better for leader to be confident and competent to be able to stand up straight, and look others in their eyes by using an authoritative tone of voice. In fact impression management is defiantly an integral to effective leadership as followers do have images of ideal although may have to disguise his or her true feelings in order to be successful. Contrary the impression management is used to reach immoral ends. And others do form impression whether we are conscious or not by judging our personality and values through what we wear to convey our identities, no to conceal them or manipulate others. Thus ethical impression managers meet group wants and need, not just the needs of the leaders. They spur followers toward highly moral ends. Nevertheless unethical impression managers produce opposite effects, subverting group’s wishes and lowering purpose management to and aspiration. These leaders use dysfunctional impression management to send deceptive message which does undermine relationships, and distort information, leadership to poor decisions and conclusions. 

However, the shadow of inconsistency by leaders who deals with variety of constituencies with their own abilities and interest do have their needs. Unfortunately do like some followers better than others as they do develop closer relationships with one group of followers. These members of inter-group become advisors, assistants, and lieutenants. Their level of trust, mutual influence and support is at high level as it is characterize by their exchanges with the leader. In contrary the members of out-group are expected to carry out the basic governments of their jobs. Their communication with the leader is not as trusting and supportive. Evidently and surprisingly members of in-groups are more satisfied and productive socially in term of political and economical aspect then members out-groups. In this ways has to be exploring for leaders to develop close relationships with their followers with justice and fairness to them all. Yes, situational variables do complicate- follower’s interactions when guideline of work in ordinary times does breakdown under stressful conditions. Such as diverse, followers, varying levels of relationships and elements do make consistency an ethical burden of leadership. Thus shadows arise when leaders appear to act arbitrarily and unfairly when are faced with question of resident assistant who does enforces damnatory rules.

In spite whether a leader does cast light or shadow  would  depend on where a leader is casting light or shadow depending on where one do stand as a follower. But issues of inconsistency do arise in a leader’s relationships with those outside the immediate group or organization. And that need to be weigh as a host loyalties or duties when making choices especially duties to employees and stakeholders- considering obligations to their families and the larger society. Noteworthy leaders have to put the needs of community above selfish interest. Clearly those who appear to put their interests first are worthy of condemnation. Loyalties could be broken as well as misplaced. All in all leaders who stick by their workers shine so brightly. Josiah Royce, philosopher said that loyalty to the right cause do produces admirable character traits like justice, wisdom, and compassion. As loyalty is a significant burden which placed on leaders, in fact is well placed as does make a significant moral statement as a struggle where to place their loyalties and how to honor the trust others have placed in them. Nevertheless, the breath of responsibility is one of the factors which do distinguish between the leader and followers roles. Followers are largely responsible for their own actions or, in the case of a self-directed work team, for those of their peers. But in contrary leaders do act irresponsibly when they fail to make reasonable efforts to prevent follower’s misdeed, ignore or deny ethical problems, because of not shouldering responsibility for the consequences of their directives, deny their duties to followers, or hold followers to higher standards than themselves.            

In conclusion, to achieve every lasting peace in our country, it is important to control uncultured troubleshooters such that they do not talk out of their minds words which do fuel conflict and hatred in the society and system of governance. Because those who are engage in the negotiation process for the benefit of our people should be people who are highly culture and humble beyond no doubt. Because Interim national unity government which people are working is in fact to heal the wounds in our people in order to achieve peace and reconciliation as brothers and sisters in Christ. There is no any good reason of being engage in war which always being fuel by uncultured troubleshooters who does aimed to achieve political and economical interest or gain in our society and system of governance. This people who are controlling the current regime and do claim legitimacy have been elected under United Sudan before it split into two countries. So no need of dwelling on it instead we should focus on resettling our people back home after that election can take place for one to proof himself/herself of being popular by majority vote without prejudice and favor.
